Miesha is a licensed registered nurse. Her career history includes the following areas of specialty,Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU),
Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Cardiovascular ICU,
Surgical Trauma ICU, and Ambulatory Services.
She has triple certifications in advanced life support from the American Heart Association. She is actively certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
She is a former member of the UTSouthwestern CVICU
hospital-associated pressure injury (HAPI) prevention team.
Her volunteerism includes, Texas Nurses Association Mock Jury Trial and Texas Womens University Capstone Nurse Preceptor.
Miesha values evidence-based nurse practice, advancing her nurse critical thinking skills, and advocating for patient safety. Miesha is an active member of the Texas Nurses Association and The American Nurses Association.
In her leisure time, Miesha enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and mentoring nursing students.
